We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as the Director of HR at our Central location on 115 East 13th Street, New York, NY.What You'll Contribute:As the Director of HR, you will play a crucial role in shaping the organization's human resources landscape. Reporting to the CHRO, you will lead the charge in employee relations resolutions, enhancing HR processes, ensuring HRIS data integrity and employee processing, and contributing to the development of policies that align with our mission and values. Your responsibilities will include:Providing strategic leadership in all HR areas, from employee relations to onboarding, talent management, and legal compliance.Supporting HELP USA locations in developing and executing effective talent strategies in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.Identifying and addressing employee relations issues swiftly, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.Actively championing a positive culture by aligning individuals with our mission and values.Utilizing Dayforce technology to enhance and automate HR processes.Coordinating a performance management program to ensure consistency and effectiveness.You're a Great Fit If You Have:A commitment to our mission of helping people experiencing homelessness.A Bachelor's degree in human resources management (preferred).HR Certification or Master’s Degree in Human Resources (preferred).8 years of relevant HR experience, with 5 years in a decision-making leadership role in similar-sized organizations (1,200 employees currently - Experience with populations of 1,000 employees or more is a must).Demonstrated ability to positively influence and build teams, solidify effective relationships, and handle sensitive information professionally.Strong computer technical skills in Excel, ATS, and HRIS, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.Strong communication skills both verbal and written.Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills desirable.We Offer:A dynamic work environment in a professional office setting.Full-time position with hybrid work of 3 common days in the office with 2 days remote.
