We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding accounting and accounts payable abilities. It is also important that you are able to work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
- Execute full cycle Accounts Payable
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed
- Complete additional accounting tasks as needed
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed
- Data entry for accounts linked to the business
- Report to Controller regarding the finances of establishment.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail
- General Accounting experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Corporate accounting / Accounts Payable experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
