Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist who is eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our clients company. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries and discrepancies
• Assist in month-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze AP reports to monitor spending trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of project-related invoices and payments
• Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of construction accounting principles and familiarity with construction contracts is a plus
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
