About the Role:

Join our team as an Accounts Payable Senior Clerk and play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our accounts payable information. You'll ensure accuracy and efficiency in invoicing functions while providing essential support to our Accounting Department. Under the guidance of the Accounting Manager and Controller, you'll oversee the work of Accounts Payable Clerks, ensuring timely and accurate completion. General Responsibilities:

• Review AP invoices and ensure accuracy
• Apply payments and perform accurate data entry into accounting software
• Resolve past due invoices collaboratively with vendors
• Enforce internal controls for Accounts Payable
• Basic A/P, A/R reconciliation and follow the 3-way matching process
• Review other A/P clerks' accounts for accuracy
• Reconcile payable reports monthly for accuracy
• Assist in training other employees
• Support the accounting department in month-end reconciliation
• Interact with employees and vendors to complete tasks promptly
• Manage the company credit card platform, ensuring compliance
• Accurately record monthly credit card statements
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic mathematical principles
• Knowledge of accounting software (ability to learn new software)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to handle and resolve problems
• Physical ability to perform essential duties, including sitting at a desk and lifting a minimum of 15 pounds
