Job Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Human Resources who will play a pivotal role in shaping and sustaining the organizations people and culture, especially during this period of substantial growth. The Director must be experienced in a multitude of areas, ranging from talent acquisition to benefits administration and employee relations. As a leader within the Organization, the Director will be looked upon to drive the company's overall strategy as it relates to Human Capital Management, including building foundational infrastructure through process driven protocols. The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be relied upon to make recommendations regarding automation, centralization and the efficient use of technology (i.e: implementing virtual orientations). Here are some key responsibilities and qualities that the Director of HR will include:
Responsibilities:
· Talent Acquisition: Developing strategies for attracting top talent, overseeing the recruitment process, and ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
· Benefits Administration: Managing employee benefits programs effectively to support employee well-being and satisfaction.
· Employee Relations: Handling employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting employee engagement.
· Efficiency Building: Identifying opportunities for streamlining HR processes and implementing efficient protocols to support the company's growth.
· Metrics and Analytics: Designing and analyzing key HR metrics to measure employee performance, engagement, and retention.
· Leadership and Culture Maintenance: Playing a key role in leadership discussions, contributing to strategic decisions, and preserving and enhancing the company's culture.
· Self-Initiative and Independence: Being proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to drive HR initiatives forward.
· Adaptability: Being able to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities
· Communication Skills: Effectively communicating HR policies, initiatives, and strategies to various stakeholders within the organization.
Skills:
- Experience with employee evaluation, orientation, training development
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in HR systems such as Insperity, Workday or UKG preferred
- Strong understanding of HR sourcing techniques
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Proven experience in performance management and talent management
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
