SCHROTH Safety Products LLC is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative occupant protection and restraint systems for highly specialized aerospace, defense, and motorsport applications. We develop sophisticated technical solutions for customers in seats, seat belts, airbag technology, and crash safety.
We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. The coordinator will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects assigned. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using HR software and tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and training arrangements.
Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
Coordinate performance management processes, such as performance evaluations and goal setting.
Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping, deductions, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
Schedules meetings as requested by the HR Manager.
Provide support for employee relations issues, including investigations and documentation.
Coordinate HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement and events.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions or concerns.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator or relevant human resources position.
Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a must.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
