Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%

Description

Position Summary: Provide HR support to the Area Director of Human Resources, by assisting in the administration of Human Resources tasks. This includes ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards and federal, state and local regulations.


Essential functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Assist in the day to day operation of the Human Resources department
  • Assist team members with requests and/or information. Attempt to answer team member questions and address concerns in a timely manner
  • Advise managers regarding basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with the recruitment, screening and interview process
  • Oversee the day to day administration of the Paycom system
  • Provide assistance with onboarding new team members
  • Explain elements of our benefits program and assist with enrollment
  • Develop relationships with college and high school hospitality programs
  • Schedule and attend career fairs
  • Reconcile benefit invoices
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, safety and other HR requirements
  • Assist with payroll processes
  • Assist Area Director of HR with specialized projects
  • Coordinate and assist Area Director of HR with employee events

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or related field or 2 years’ related experience in HR generalist or specialist role.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and/or selection experience a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience executing small projects - preferred
