Admiral Security Services is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Baltimore, MD

Overview

Admiral Security Services is looking for an HR Manager to work in their Baltimore, MD office. The HR Manager is responsible for performing human resource related duties such as recruiting/employment, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, training, data entry, employee relations, policy implementation, conducting investigations and reports and needed.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting/Employment
    • Initiate correspondence to identify needs for open positions
    • Place electronic advertisements when needed for open positions; email selected candidate resumes to appropriate individuals for review; print and file resumes
    • Track open position progress from start to hire
    • Follow up with Hiring Manger consistently to ensure timely and appropriate hiring for open positions
    • Compose correspondence to candidates
    • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations
    • Manage the onboarding paperwork and process for all hires
  • Performance Reviews
    • Check the performance reviews for accuracy, work with HR department at the headquarters location to work within established deadlines.
    • Track all employee evaluations to include completion, overall scores, and manage the compliance
  • Organizational Structure / Compensation
    • Update and maintain organizational charts
    • Maintain company compensation spreadsheets for all departmental changes
    • Be point of contact for guidance on compensation actions
    • Utilize job descriptions to make appropriate match in compensation; recommend placement and evaluation of new company positions with HR department at the headquarters location
    • Review, analyze and sustain company compensation structure to ensure compliance
  • Maintain HRIS database
    • Manage data input
    • Audit for accuracy and records changes
    • Maintain data integrity
    • Input new employee information into HRIS database timely, to not interrupt payroll processing
  • Employee Relations
    • Support employees with any questions and needs regarding company policies, benefits, compensation, etc.
    • Assist and/or develop programs, projects and special assignments
    • Partner with HR headquarters on creating and implementing employee activities, reports, etc.
  • Analyze and compile HR data into reports and presentations as needed
  • Backup for coordination of background checks, employment verifications, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources
  • 8 or more years of work experience in Human Resources or recruiting field preferred
  • Flexible with work assignments and hours (must be reliable and willing to work on Saturdays when necessary)
  • Understands the importance of employee and company confidentiality
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of laws governing human resource issues
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Team player with self-motivation skills
  • Excellent oral, written, reading, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Manual dexterity, and very organized
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to make timely decision and adapt to change
