We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Vested. As the HR Generalist, you will collaborate closely with our Chief People Officer to support all aspects of people operations, with a primary focus on people administration, employee relations, learning, and development. Together with The People Team, you will play a vital role in fostering and upholding our "Always Be Vested" workplace culture and environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administrative Support

• Support and execute people initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive employee culture, focusing on development and engagement.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices, processes, and policies.
• Support the annual updates to the employee handbook and ensure effective communication of policy changes.
• Owns people team project tracker and People Operations Portal Asana board, ensuring timely progress of all projects

Employee Relations and Development

• Act as a trusted support to employees below the Senior Account Executive (“SAE”) level, providing guidance and support on various employee relations matters including addressing performance and disciplinary issues 
• Support and oversee the Intern and Graduate Programs, including onboarding, and development initiatives.

Onboarding and Offboarding

• Supports the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for Group Vested, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate new hires' schedules, including orientation and training activities, in partnership with hiring managers.
• Support on exit interviews for employees below “SAE” level to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Benefits and HR Administration

• In conjunction with the CPO, act as a liaison with the PEO provider, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective management of employee benefits.
• Support benefit administration, including medical, dental, and vision support, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support the execution of Leave of Absence programs, providing guidance to employees and ensuring compliance with leave policies.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• 4 years experience in HR or People Operations roles within Public relations (PR), Advertising, or Marketing Agencies
• Degree in an HR-related field and/or PHR or SPHR certificate
• Familiarity with Insperity or similar PEO platforms is a plus.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

At Vested, we embrace a fully flexible work environment, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own location. However, due to the nature of this role, we are seeking candidates in the New York City area who can operate from our NY HQ as needed. Agency hours begin at 9 am ET Monday to Friday.
