Job Title: Temporary Human Resource Generalist
Job Type: Temporary (Duration: 6 months)
Location: Remote position. 30-40 hours a week for 3-6 months.

Job Description:
As a Temporary Human Resource Generalist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our HR operations, with a primary focus on compliance, training, employee relations, and training & development initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for HR practices and a strong commitment to upholding organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance Management:
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs.
2. Training & Development:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop training plans.
- Coordinate and conduct employee training sessions on various topics, including diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and leadership development.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
3. Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and performance management.
4. Recruitment Support:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Participate in interview panels and provide input on candidate selection.
5. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Prepare HR-related reports and analytics for management review.
- Assist with other HR administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on compliance, training, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Prior experience in a temporary or project-based HR role.
