Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious pastries and desserts. Assiting and following the pastry chef instructions. It is the Pastry Assistant's responsibility that all desserts are consistent, meet company standards, and presented to guests in the highest level of quality.

Duties:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts

- Decorate pastries using various techniques

- Follow recipes and presentation specifications

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new pastry items

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working in a pastry kitchen or similar environment

- Knowledge of cake decorating, food production, and pastry techniques

- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools including knives

- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and food handling procedures

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting

- Formal culinary training or certification in pastry arts is a plus
