The HR Generalist will primarily support our Human Resources function. S/he will manage employee relations issues, ensure a robust internal talent pipeline and play a key role in annual HR initiatives, including: succession planning, performance management, and compensation planning. The HR Generalist will also have the opportunity to design, develop, and implement various HR initiatives to support the Universal Orlando HR community.ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day HR support for all Human Resources clients, including: recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, compensation analysis, performance management, and reporting/analytics.Partner with the Director, Human Resources to support HR leadership and their teams on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and practices.Mentor and provide guidance to all clients, related to career development.Assist in carrying out annual HR initiatives, including: succession planning, performance management, and compensation planningIdentify and provide creative solutions to employee engagement challenges, compensation/title analysis, organizational structuring, and retention initiativesProcess HRIS transactions for Human Resources clientsProvide back-up HR support to other Corporate Functions clients, as neededQualificationsBasic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree required3 years working within the HR functionEligibility Requirements:Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be consideredMust be willing to work in Universal Orlando, FLMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the United StatesDesired Characteristics:1 year as an HR GeneralistAdvanced degree in HR Management, Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Development preferredDemonstrated ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high-quality HR services in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExcellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skillsHighly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detailIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and WordExperience with HR information systems (ie.
