- Maintain employee personnel, confidential, and medical files.
- Respond to unemployment claims.
- Administer and attend a wide range of departmental activities such as: health benefits acquisition, benefits enrollment, orientation, health fairs, safety training, policy meetings, 401(k) plan enrollment, and employee training.
- Assists in formulation of general safety policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
- Reviews Safety Training quarterly to ensure all safety essential personnel are current on safety training.
- Audit all leave cases to ensure all employees have proper documentation.
- Handles all aspects of workers compensations including reporting of injuries, log on OSHA forms, and maintain accurate records on status of claims.
- Oversee Department of Transportation (DOT) record keeping requirements.
- Maintains awareness of new/changing employment laws and regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to general Company practices and policies or benefit programs.
- Prepare and deliver monthly supervisor skills training sessions.
- Perform any range of special projects as directed, compile and track data, report on project progress, and assist in the development of information as required.
- $49,708/yr - $73,663/yr This represents the low and high end of the company's base salary range for this position.
- Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
