About the positions:
OHR is seeking driven, enthusiastic, customer-centric, and self-motivated Human Resources Specialists (Recruiters) to join OHR’s collaborative and innovative Recruitment and Selection Team. This team is dedicated to advancing the mission of Montgomery County by facilitating an equitable recruitment and screening process resulting in a diverse and inclusive workforce. The incumbents will work in partnership with County leaders to actively seek out and court candidates, develop candidate pipelines and ease the recruitment and selection process for both candidates and hiring managers.

Salary range for this class of work:
Grade N18 : $54,583 (minimum) – $86,103 (maximum) Anticipated salary range for this position if filled at the this level is $54,583 (minimum) – $70,343 maximum)
Grade N22 : $64,426 (minimum) - $102,682 (maximum) Anticipated salary range for this position if filled at the this level is $64,426 (minimum) – $83,552 maximum)

Montgomery County Ethics Law : Except as provided by law or regulation, the County's "Public Employees" (which does not include employees of the Sheriff's office) are subject to the County's ethics law including the requirements to obtain advanced approval of any outside employment and the prohibitions on certain outside employment. Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Public Administration or related field.
Experience : Positions may be filled at the Human Resources Specialist I or II level as follows:
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Possession of a graduate degree in one of the above fields may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Preferred CriteriaThere is no Preferred Criteria. All applicants will be reviewed by OHR for minimum qualifications. Those applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be rated Qualified, placed on the Eligible List, and may be considered for an interview.
