Under the leadership of the Director, the staff of the Office of Human Resources (OHR) work together to achieve great things for the more than 10,000 employees of the County. Our divisions include Recruitment and Selection, Training and Organizational Development, Health Insurance and Welfare, EEO Compliance and Diversity Management, IT, Business Operations, Administrative Services, Occupational Medical Services, and Records Management.
About the Position:
The Office of Human Resources Recruitment & Selection Division is seeking to fill an Administrative Specialist II vacancy to work as a Recruitment Coordinator.
The Recruitment Coordinator will work closely with the Chief of Talent Acquisition to coordinate the administrative workflow to provide the highest level of support and assistance to internal staff and external job candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The selected applicant will also provide general assistance on various HR-related projects and tasks. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Montgomery County Ethics Law : Except as provided by law or regulation, the County's "Public Employees" (which does not include employees of the Sheriff's office) are subject to the County's ethics law including the requirements to obtain advanced approval of any outside employment and the prohibitions on certain outside employment. Minimum QualificationsEDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of professional administrative experience in recruitment coordination and/or providing human resources support.
Substitutions:
1. EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
2. EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, business, research and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for year basis
Preferred CriteriaThe applications of those individuals meeting the minimum qualifications will be reviewed to determine the extent, relevancy of training, and experience in the following areas:
