Maverix Health is Hiring a Remote Accounts Payable Specialist
Duties
- Process and review accounts payable invoices and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Maintain vendor files and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Payroll, to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments
- Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Skills
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using ADP, UltiPro, Kronos, or similar payroll and HR systems
- Knowledge of financial concepts related to accounts payable and receivable
- Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
