Our kitchen is team-oriented, offers competitive pay, and is less stressful than most kitchen environments. Our facility closes at 7:00 PM nightly, we serve 35-50 guests per meal service (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

The Lead Cook is responsible for assisting and providing support to the F&B Director. The individuals primary responsibilities include executing and supporting our nutrition and culinary requirements in a polished and professional manner, supporting our restaurant in inventory coordination (orders, receiving, stocking, and credits), culinary staff supervision, and kitchen organization, and assisting with operational needs.

**Education/Experience/Competencies:**

* A 2-year certification or degree in Culinary Arts required, nutrition degree preferred

* 1-3 years experience as a chef/line cook

* ServSafe certification required

* Preferred TIPS certification, CPR/AED certification

* Basic knife handling and cooking skills

* Ability to speak confidently and correctly about Hilton Healths nutrition philosophy

* Understanding of Hilton Head Healths nutrition philosophy

* Ability to work patiently with guests both one on one or in a large group

* Customer service and satisfaction

* Computer skills; ESHA, Word, Outlook, ability to type and edit recipes

* Understanding of kitchen equipment operations

* Takes initiative

* Commitment to quality assurance, safety, and sanitation standards

**Essential Responsibilities:**

* Present hands-on cooking classes, private cooking lessons, chefs tables, cooking demonstrations, nutrition consultations, and private events.

* Assist Executive Chef with determining food presentation and creating decorative displays.

* Preparation and execution of daily menu items while following our nutrition philosophy.

* Follow direction and protocol provided by the culinary management team.

* Set-up/breakdown of Healthy Kitchen classes and events.

* Maintain cleanliness of Healthy Kitchen on a daily basis.

* Assist in recipe development and organization: testing, typing, editing Hilton Head Health recipes, maintaining recipe binders, upscale/downsize recipes as necessary.

* Inventory of all food and equipment necessary to run Healthy Kitchen events.

* Arrive to work on time properly groomed and uniformed for guest interaction. Refer to uniform protocol.

* Assist culinary management in the execution of blog and media requests.

* Represent Hilton Head Health appropriately by consistently delivering the highest quality of service.

* Explore and learn Hilton Head Healths recipe development process; develop and test recipes.

* Be proactive in managing food and recipe integrity by training and supporting new and current staff in all back of house positions.

* Support all ordering and inventory (produce, Halperns, Sysco, US Foods, Sprout Mama, and any additional).

* Support inventory and quality of inventory, ensuring proper storage, rotation, ensure invoices reflect proper cost, and items are returned, communicated properly, and credited promptly as necessary.

* Ability to work expo line for all meal periods as necessary.

* Present operational challenges/ideas with solutions and assist in the execution in a timely manner.

* Assist in the management of employees; plan, assign and direct work; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.

**Gentlemens Manicure 20 Minutes $30**

**Gentlemens Pedicure 30 Minutes $40**

Your feet will feel softer, smoother, and rejuvenated after warm foot soak. Nails are groomed, a callus treatment is applied and a soothing foot and lower leg massage with hot towel relieves tension.

**No-Frills Manicure 20 Minutes $30**

Nails are groomed followed by a warm oil soak to help restore and hydrate the nails and cuticles. This essential care service reduces risk for future hangnails and cuts around the cuticles. Finish with a hydrating hot towel and soothing arm and hand massage. Does not include a polish.

**No-frills Pedicure 30 Minutes $40**

Kick off your shoes for this essential foot care. Rejuvenate your feet in a warm foot soak before nails are groomed and a callus treatment applied. Finish with a softening hot towel treatment and soothing foot and lower leg massage.

**Mandarin Honey Manicure 30 Minutes $40**

Hands are restored with a warm soak and gentle exfoliation, then hydrated with a hot towel and mandarin honey lotion application that provides antioxidants, boosts collagen production, reduces fine lines and improves skin tone. Service includes trimming, filing, cuticle care and polish.

**Mandarin Honey Pedicure 40 Minutes $50**

After a warm soak, your feet will be refreshed with complete nail care maintenance. Enjoy an exfoliating scrub followed with hot towel and moisturizing and hydrating mandarin honey lotion application. Nails are finished with your choice of polish color.

**Sweetgrass Manicure 40 Minutes $50**

Soft scents of our positive energy-promoting sweetgrass essential oil is added to a warm soak which helps open airways and improves concentration. Hands are then refreshed with a sweetgrass exfoliation healing dry, chapped skin, followed by a hand and arm massage with masque and hot towels. Cuticles are conditioned while nails are are shaped, buffed/filed and finished with your choice of color.

**Sweetgrass Pedicure 50 Minutes $60**

Add a few drops of *calm* into your service with our sweetgrass essential oil warm foot soak. Nourish dry feet and legs next with a sweetgrass exfoliation and massage. A masque and hot towels are applied for extra hydration. Nails are finely groomed and finished with your choice of polish.

**Palms Paradise Manicure 50 Minutes $60**

Your paradise begins with a warm soak and a gentle lavender sugar scrub. A hydrating masque for your hands and arms will deliver moisture to instantly revive skin while cuticles and nails are shaped and nourished. Extend your relaxation as your arms are gently massaged with hot stones and your hands are wrapped in a paraffin treatment.
