As we prepare for this eagerly awaited opening, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

Position Overview:

As a Sous Chef at our new establishment, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen's day-to-day operations, supporting the Head Chef in leading our team to deliver exceptional Italian dishes. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu development and execution, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and creativity.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Manage inventory and order supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels and managing cost control.
• Ensure the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Participate in staff training and development initiatives, promoting continuous learning and culinary excellence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within a fine dining or high-end Italian restaurant.
• A deep understanding of Italian cuisine and ingredients, with a passion for culinary innovation.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• A commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
