Your primary role will be to proactively engage with owners, brokers, and other sources of new management opportunities in order to support our overall growth objectives. Once a new relationship is secured, you will act as the primary client contact while maintaining a strong partnership with the operations team to ensure the properties' success.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Analyst is responsible for aiding the Asset Management team in conducting real time analysis of theportfolio's success through various models and metrics. This includes, but is not limited to analyzing assetoperations, monthly financials, and lease up velocity against proformas and yearly budgets as well as identifyingtrends to recommend cash flow improvement initiatives.Elmington is comprised of multiple locations and lines of business that are operated as their own living, breathingcorporation. They have income and expenses, debt and a bottom line - all of which we will look to you to helpoptimize through your role. Along with this responsibility comes a very high level of expectations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
➢ Perform real time analysis of asset operations to proforma.➢ Forecast future trends and scenarios to improve cash flow.➢ Develop ongoing operational expense models to assist with deal underwriting.➢ Monitor lease up velocity and delivery dates, determining how it compares to underwriting proforma.➢ Assist in setting up yearly budget worksheets, identifying income and opex trends.➢ Create various reports to monitor the financial success of ECG assets.➢ Opportunity to gain exposure to multiple lenses within the Real Estate Industry- construction, design,property management, asset management, etc.➢ Collaborate with internal stakeholders on cross-departmental projects.➢ Assist the Asset Management team in creating systems to enhance reporting initiatives.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
➢ Bachelor's degree in mathematics or economics or equivalent experience in business analyst rolesdependent upon the department of position➢ Investment Analyst experience and/or certification preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Less than 10% of the time for trips to new developments for lease up analysis, ribbon cuttings, etc.
