Corvian Community School is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Charlotte, NC
Core Accountabilities: The Administrative Assistant will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in providing administrative support to enhance the efficiency of day-to-day operations within the school. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily functions of the school’s administration.
Key Outputs/Results: · Accurately input and maintain payroll information for staff members.
· Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and error-free payroll processing.
· Keep abreast of payroll-regulations and compliance.
· Update and maintain the charter school’s website with relevant content, announcements and news.
· Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms to promote school events, achievements, and community engagement.
· Monitor social media channels and respond to inquiries or comments in a professional manner.
· Provide general administrative support to the school’s leadership team.
· Assist in the coordination of meetings, events and special projects.
· Handle phone calls, emails and other communications in a prompt and courteous manner.
· Maintain accurate and organized records related to payroll, communications and administrative tasks.
· Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
· Collaborate with other school staff members to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
· Work closely with teachers, parents, and community members to foster positive relationships.
· HR assistance as needed
· Other duties as assigned Essential Knowledge:
· High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
· Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in an educational setting, is a plus.
Technical Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Familiarity with payroll software.
· Familiarity with school databases and student information systems is a plus.
