Summary:The Administrative Assistant at Simpson-Gillespie United Methodist Church (SGUMC) is a key part-time position under the pastor's direct supervision and the Staff Parish Relations Committee's guidance. This role encompasses clerical tasks, office organization, and computer operations, emphasizing confidentiality and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong office and interpersonal skills, contributing to a supportive and caring environment reflective of the church's mission.
Relationship and Accountability:The Administrative Assistant is directly accountable to the Pastor for all job responsibilities at SGUMC, with performance, salary, and benefits reviewed annually by the Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
