Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic, interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities while aligning with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
Develop Curriculum: Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop curriculum materials, assessments, and instructional resources that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Utilize various formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and identify areas for growth.
Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring all students have access to a rigorous and supportive learning environment.
Cultural Integration: Integrate cultural components into lessons to deepen students' understanding and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures around the world.
Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning, where mutual respect, cooperation, and active participation are encouraged.
Parent and Community Engagement: Foster open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on student progress and participation in school events and parent-teacher conferences. Collaborate with community resources to enhance students' language learning experiences beyond the classroom.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction, pedagogy, and technology integration.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in education, Spanish, or related field.
Valid teaching certification/license in North Carolina preferred.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a charter school or diverse educational setting.
Proficiency in Spanish (native or near-native fluency preferred)
