As the HR Manager, you'll partner with leadership and managers to execute our human resource and talent strategy, focusing on recruiting top talent, fostering employee retention, and enabling smooth succession planning. Your expertise in HR best practices, combined with your ability to adapt to the evolving industry needs, will be crucial in driving our business forward. Reporting to the Accounting Manager and supervising the HR Generalist, you will be the driving force behind creating a "Great Place to Work" for our team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
  • Partners with leadership & managers to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive work environment and ensure employee satisfaction through regular communication, feedback, and support.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Performance Management:
  • Oversee performance and disciplinary documentation.
  • Provide guidance to managers on effective performance coaching and development techniques.
  • Conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs within the organization and design relevant training programs to enhance employee & manager skills and competencies.
  • Human Resource Policies and Compliance:
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing, leave management, and employee benefits enrollment.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Leads annual benefit selection and proposes options to Leadership based on budget and employee interests.
  • Human Resource Analytics and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze human resource data to identify trends and recommend key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare regular human resource reports for management and provide insights for strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR Generalist related experience.
  • Proven ability to be a successful strategic thought partner to senior executives.
  • Critical thinking and strategic planning skills sufficient to analyze and evaluate complex information, research and evaluate alternatives, independently make sound decisions, resolve conflicts and provide guidance on a variety of HR issues.
  • Has experience in implementing HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Employer brand development experience within organizational-wide employee communication.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
