Position Description:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual to process payroll, perform human resource duties and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least two years prior experience in a human resources role, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook, and possess the ability to handle information with the highest degree of confidentiality.
Responsibilities include, but not be limited to:
· Process payroll from start to finish
· Manage employee benefits
· Manage the hiring and onboarding process of new employees
· Support and advise employees on employment issues
· Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations; stay updated on legal changes related to human resource requirements
· Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws and regulations to employees and management
· Assist in the drafting and implementation of HR policies and procedures
· Assist in the organization of staff training and outings
· Assist in organizing volunteer programs and outings for the company
· Report to insurance companies any claims of injury
· Process employees credit card payments
· Record and invoice customers for employee time and credit card charges
. Administrative duties as assigned
· Pursue professional development through industry and trade organizations; network within field and promote Suntide services
· Other duties as assigned
