POSITION SCOPE:

The Accounts Payable Senior Accountant must handle job responsibilities, set priorities, maintain a high level of accomplishment and implement process improvements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that all AP transactions & corrections are made properly and recording timely
• Works with other Finance teams as required to ensure accurate and timely accounting close
• Responds to escalated inquiries from suppliers and internal departments on payment status / system issues
• Supports internal/external audits
• Reviews the monthly GRIR account to ensure clearing of the account is done on a timely basis
• Works with our Global Shared Service Center on process improvements and system enhancements

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited College/University is required
• Five (5) years of extensive Accounts Payable experience
• Advanced knowledge of full-cycle P2P process in a large company environment
• Must be proficient in SAP
• Ability to work on multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change
• Ability to analyze information and processes
• Must be proficient with MS Office
• Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
