The Business Development Representatives research prospective customers, develop creative outreach strategies, and identify new sales opportunities. They lead discovery conversations with potential customers and identify how Tricentis can help customers accelerate Digital Transformation!

As a member of the sales team, the BDR must be able to operate and coordinate across multiple teams and thrive in a fast-paced culture.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop targeted accounts and inbound leads to create qualified sales opportunities
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations in target accounts
  • Gain a strong understanding of both industry and product knowledge; you will be the expert in this field.
  • Tenaciously utilize phone, email, social media, and other methods to reach prospective customers through a high level of daily activities.
  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of Tricentis to prospects.
  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities
  • Collaborate with Field Sales Reps on target accounts and territory planning.
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
  • Work in collaboration with Field and Corporate Marketing to drive attendance at regional marketing events
  • Meet or exceed BDR sourced Opportunity volume targets.
  • Targeted outbound prospecting into Key Accounts

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
  • Previous sales experience required, in which you demonstrated the ability to exceed sales quotas
  • A genuine curiosity and empathy for the prospect's situations, needs, challenges, and pains.
  • Highly driven with a passion for technology
  • Passionate about being a part of Tricentis’ journey
  • 2 years work experience in a professional environment
  • Track record of high achievement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficient in using Salesforce and Salesloft (or similar products)
  • Outbound prospecting experience is a plus
  • Creativity in sourcing your own leads and prospects
  • Highly organized; strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
  • Globally we require excellent written and spoken English which is our company language. Mandarin will be a bonus.
  • A competitive attitude and a drive to succeed above and beyond your peer
