Key Responsibilities include the following:Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments.Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals.Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects.Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes.Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies.Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads, Marketing and Operations team members.Contribute to the team effort and work on special projectsQualificationsExperience working at a similar level in Fund Administration or Financial Services more broadly, with an interest in moving into business development.Previous experience with alternative asset managers, asset owners, banking platforms, FX and/or global markets solutions favourable.Technical understanding of alternative investment types, structures and market participants.Experience working in a client facing capacity within financials services, consultancy or fintech.Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, both internally and externally.Additional InformationAt MUFG Investor Services, we are exceptionally proud of our approach to Hybrid Working.
