THE ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with a high performing junior sales representative, as a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be the first team member that is purely dedicated to Sales. This role is based in their Sydney CBD office. You will be responsible for delivering new business opportunities to Mid Market and Enterprise organisations across the country including government bodies, both from outbound and inbound means.
ATTRIBUTES
Key skills required for this role include:
- Outbound business development
- Consultative/solution-based sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Persuasive and goal-oriented approach
- Energetic, friendly demeanour
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction
- Comfort in communicating with C-Level Executives
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6 years of successful track record in mid-market and/or enterprise new business development
- Strong network in Mid Market ($20-200M) companies and larger
- Experience in fast-growing startups or divisions
- Experience in lead generation and prospect management
