Responsibilities:
Drive sales activity to exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets
Develop & implement Service Sales strategies to maximise potential in market segment
Exploit all opportunities for market development within Vertiv’s Service portfolio by collaborating and developing Vertiv’s service value proposition with Services Sales BDM’s and the broader Sales teams
Identify Service Sales opportunities, produce offerings and initiate activity to sell Vertiv Service deliverable and ensure follow ups for such activities
Develop account/territory plans and action plans to achieve targets
Identify, evaluate and acquire new business from clients with existing installed equipment not under a maintenance contract that relates to Vertiv’s assets
Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers and provide feedback on customer service issues and opportunities
Assist and participate in customer demonstration or promotional seminars, Data centre assessments, extended warranty etc and deliver on company penetration expectations
Provides written agreements and quotations to clients and prospects for services
Effectively handle service sales related customer issues while maintaining customer confidence
Hunt for Service Contract opportunities to increase contract revenues while maintaining margin objectives
Work with the National Service Sales Manager to drive grow strategies and market expansion
Collaborate with Service Delivery and internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and create a seamless and consistent customer experience
Assess requirements and advise clients on the range of technical service options and provide commercial proposals related to the company’s services
Maintain ongoing communication with existing customers and provide feedback on customer service issues
Requirements:
3-5 years experience in service sales
Business development experience
Strong commercial acumen
Sales experience in service sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or related field
