The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) serves Franklin County and neighboring areas with solutions for solid waste. We deliver our mission of reducing reliance on landfills by providing consumer recycling and waste reduction opportunities throughout the County.

The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) is seeking an experienced and transformational Human Resources Manager who is willing to be hands on in overseeing the organization's HR function. As the Human Resources Manager, you will work as a change agent, by providing leadership and direct support of the organization's strategic goals and people process improvement. The HR Manager will collaborate with the SWACO leadership team, providing methods to improve performance management, talent acquisition, training and development as well as diversity and inclusion in order to link HR strategies to business outcomes.

• Organization Design and Development
• Policy and Procedure Review

The position has oversight of a team responsible for:

• Employee relations
• HR compliance
• Compensation and benefits
• Recruiting and hiring

The ideal candidate will promote a positive company culture based on core values of integrity, innovation, ethics, and service excellence. In addition, you will need:

• A Bachelors' Degree in a related field
• 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience
• HR Certification (such as PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SCP) is strongly preferred
• HR administration experience with a public sector agency is also a plus.
