Taskforce on Racial Inclusion & Equity (TRIE)
Position Title: Administrative Coordinator
Job ID Number: 34646
Background:
The Taskforce on Racial Inclusion & Equity (TRIE) was launched in April 2020 in response to the
disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color. The Taskforce brings together over 100 City
Agency leaders – primarily of color – from 67 agencies and offices, working collectively to prioritize and drive
resources to the communities of color and neighborhoods hardest-hit by COVID-19 and increase equity for all
New Yorkers.
Since launching, TRIE has advanced new initiatives ranging from accelerating broadband access, to new
programs and policy initiatives to support M/WBE contracting. TRIE initiatives have resulted in over $380M in
new investment, targeting communities that have experienced long-standing inequities.

office within the Office of the Mayor. As an Office, TRIE will advance practices and policies that seek to
dismantle structural racism in city government and in city programs that serve New Yorkers. TRIE will
