Columbia University's Programs in Occupational Therapy invite applicants for a full time, 12-month faculty appointment.This position encompasses coordinating the program's Level I fieldwork experiences, teaching and advising in the entry level MS occupational therapy program, and mentoring students in the PP-OTD program as appropriate. Applicants are expected to have or to develop a research agenda.

Close collaboration with the Level II Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and clinical course instructors across Level I fieldwork sites is expected. Collaboration with other faculty within the department and with faculty in related departments is also expected.

Minimum qualifications:

Applicants should have an earned terminal doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, ScD), be NBCOT board certified, and be licensed to practice or eligible for license to practice in the State of New York. Individuals with Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy will also be considered. Clinical experience as well as experience as a fieldwork site coordinator or educator and course director is expected.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with database management systems, such as Exxat. Experience with the use of simulations and standardized patients.
