Lvl is Hiring an Accounting Assistant Near Las Vegas, NV
- Will work closely with Senior Accountant in processes of creating reports and financials, including data entry, postings, processes, and procedures related to monthly financials.
- Accounts Payable processes, including vendor relations, all check disbursements, 1099 vendor status, filing, etc. Keys vendor invoices into company computer system.
- Works with insurance companies to verify status of outstanding claims, authorizations, dispute denials and have claims reprocessed on an as needed basis.
- Assists with payroll functions including processing payroll. Is a backup for payroll.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Maintains professionalism and confidentiality of facility business and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned. (Assist with all other departments as needed)
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in accounting/finance preferred.
- One or more years’ experience in accounts payable, payroll, accounting, or finance required, preferably in the Transportation Industry.
- Experience with current accounting software especially Accounts Payable and Payroll.
- Knowledge of general office procedures.
- Accounting Software (QuickBooks) experience required.
