As we continue growing, we will continue offering the best and most-affordable vacation options out there!Job DescriptionGeneral Summary of Duties:Manage all functions in the General Ledger to ensure that accounting records are performed and maintained in compliance with established regulations, policies and procedures.Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)Review, process, and prepare daily/monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with internal and external auditsManage and develop General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll staffPreparation and filing of various taxes and licensesHandle requests for information and data concerning accountingReview and manage fixed asset dataReview financial information supplied by various departments for accuracyComplete special projects and reports as neededReview completed work by staff for accuracyAssist within the department for any and all duties as neededPerform other duties as asked by managerAdhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerQualificationsPerformance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)Advanced math skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsWilling to learn and to be adaptableNeat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygieneAttention to detailExcel knowledge with ability to create and analyze detailed formulasSelf-starter; must work without close supervision with ability to work independentlyAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of business English and spelling of operation of standard office equipment, including adding machine, computers, fax machine and photo copierKnowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping. Minimum five years work experience in an accounting/finance related field. Must be able to obtain Gaming Registration. Pro-active work style with the ability to recognize and solve problems or issues as the arise.Education RequirementsCollege Degree in accounting or related field.Desirables:Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
