Ground Up International is Hiring a Manager of Talent Acquisition Near New York, NY

Manager of Talent Acquisition

Based on our incredible growth, we are seeking a talented Human Resources Manager with a focus on Talent Acquisition & Recruiting. The talented individual chosen for this recruitment focused role will be part of our fantastic Strategy, Operations and People team and will report to the Director of Human Resources. This client-facing role is crucial in creating a positive and welcoming environment both internally and externally. The successful Manager of Talent Acquisition will build strong relationships with our company’s employees, managers, and leaders (DIRs/VPs) to help them with their HR & Recruitment needs. This will include managing the entire recruitment process from identifying staffing needs, partnering with hiring managers during the selection process and working cross- functionally to onboard new hires. At Ground Up International, we strive to honor our commitments to professionalism, customer service, diversity, equity and inclusion. This is a 5 day a week “in the office” position. The ideal Manager of HR- Talent Acquisition candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, energetic and proficient in Microsoft 365 the Adobe Suite.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Fill Critical Roles with Top Talent: (75%)

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's goals and growth plans as well as providing strategic and tactical recruitment solutions
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer negotiation.
  • Deliver on hiring goals by area/ line of business
  • Implement best practices in candidate experience to ensure a positive impression of the company.

2. Deliver Innovative HR Solutions: (10%)

· Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

  • Cultivate relationships with educational institutions, industry organizations, and other relevant networks.
  • Maintain accurate and up- to- date candidate records as we implement a new applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide regular insights to leadership team and implement improvements based on data-driven findings.

3. Powerful HR Teaming (10%)

  • mentor across the strategy, operations & people team providing guidance, coaching, training and performance related feedback as appropriate.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the SOP team.
  • Collaborate with Ground Up International colleagues to ensure seamless integration of talent acquisition with the other HR functions.

4. Budget, Compliance and Diversity: (5%)

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Promote diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Ensure fiscal processes metrics are in place to manage metrics such as cost per hire and quality of hire

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in HR, Recruiting and/or Talent Acquisition
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Professional and on- brand appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of computer applications as noted above including MSOffice, HRIS and/or ATS systems
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition best practices and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

· 4- 6 years of experience in a similar HR or Sr Admin type role.

· HR certification (ex: PHR, SHRM- CP)

  • Experience in the fashion and/or footwear indsutry
