Job Description
Manage full life cycle recruitment processes across all disciplines with a deep understanding of the business, talent needs, DEI&B mission and vision, and strategic and creative recruitment methods
•Prepare, Source, Screen, Select, Hire & Onboard
•Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in talent acquisition trends, attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies
•Communicate regularly with Account Leads to get a clear view of company's hiring needs and organizational goals
•Partner with the hiring manager, VP HR, and SVP Finance, to align on the proposed compensation package to be offered
•Create job ads designed to attract top talent; Build out scorecards to help interview teams provide detailed feedback
•Strategically place job ads on mediums to ensure high response rates
•Proactively seek out top talent
•Function as an expert interviewer and develop a series of assessment exercises to arrive at a shortlist of viable candidates
•Keep diversity of thought and company culture central while identifying top talent; be mindful of how each hire will impact the overall DEI&B mission and vision
•Provide your POV and recommendation to hiring managers, and work together to determine the best talent for the position
•Counsel the candidate on benefits, salary, and corporate culture
•Negotiate in good faith and aim for a win-win outcome, while working with the SVP, Finance and VP HR to ensure internal equity is honored
•Manage related administrative tasks (e.g., administer hiring paperwork, schedule onboarding meetings, run background checks, etc.)
•Conduct all HR-led onboarding presentations
•Maintain detailed records of REQ statistics and provide weekly updates to hiring managers and account leads regarding the status of all open roles
•Manage recruitment related programs and initiatives across the agency, including our longrunning HBCU Fellowship Program and referral program
•Build relationships at HBCUs and serve as a brand ambassador at various events, such as career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
HR Operations and Administration
As volume of open roles fluctuates, the Recruiter must also work as a Generalist whenever
time allows, as directed. This includes responsibility for successfully accomplishing objectives and
delivering results, which will include, but will not be limited to:
•Own and implement onboarding processes for new hires and assist with offboarding (scheduling exit interviews, submitting paperwork) for departures; make process improvements informed by efficiencies-based observation, and keep updated documentation of full process life cycles
•Maintain agency-wide internal job descriptions, creating updates or new JDs as required
•Ad hoc support as directed for HR projects and functions (benefits administration, performance management, learning and development initiatives, DEI&B programming, reporting and data management, etc.)
•Develop proficiency with the various tools and platforms that are critical to successfully completing job responsibilities (LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, ADP, benefit portals, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Lattice)
•Proactively identify areas where we can change HR processes to create greater efficiency and work with the HR Team to enact improvements
Required Skills and Experience:
•4-6 years of recruiting experience
•Self-starter and exceptional communicator, written and verbal, with external and internal stakeholders
•Agency experience strongly preferred
•Some HR generalist experience strongly preferred
