Job Title: Head of Human Resources

Location: Dallas, TX

Position Overview:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will oversee all aspects of HR for the entire company. This pivotal role requires an experienced HR professional who can build and scale the HR function, foster a positive culture, implement effective people processes, and ensure compliance with HR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead the creation and refinement of HR policies, handbooks, and processes.
  • Oversee talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure competitive offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the President and the General Manager.
  • Occasional travel to Houston and Atlanta may be required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience leading HR in a similar-sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is desirable but not essential.
  • SHRM certification is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
