WorkMonger is Hiring a Human Resources Director Near Dallas, TX

The Human Resources Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and provide management and logistics in various areas of Human Resources
Essential Functions:
  • Provide flexible support to staff at all levels.
  • Draft, edit, and produce various documents.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain accurate HR records and files.
  • Problem-solve and demonstrate forward-thinking in candidate recruiting.
  • Adapt to change and interruptions positively and productively meeting deadlines.
  • Operate office equipment proficiently and adapt to new technology.
  • Represent at recruiting events and coordinate participation.
  • Design and produce job-related documents efficiently.
  • Organize candidate applications and make staffing recommendations objectively.
  • Conduct observations of hired advisors.
  • Manage our Human Resource Databases.
  • Serve as the workers' compensation officer.
  • It may require occasional travel using personal transportation.
General Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR communications and direct contacts with employees.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute paperwork for new personnel, including State and Federal forms.
  • Process documents/forms for personnel status changes, transfers, terminations, and salary.
  • Post position vacancies/transfers and update postings on the district website.
  • Correspond effectively with employees and prepare personnel exhibits for Board meetings.
  • Maintain current Notary Public license and provide New Hire onboarding training.
  • Observe policies and respond to information requests courteously and promptly.
  • Keep personnel information and records confidential.
  • Perform other tasks and assume additional responsibilities as directed by CEO/COO.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Three years of experience in a related field.
  • High competence with Microsoft computing applications.
  • Experience using office machines.
  • Experience in meeting and event coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR or SHRM Certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of Texas employment law.
  • Knowledge and ability to plan long-range and short-term for changing employee requirements.
