Business Development Manager- Hospitality

In addition to salary, employees are eligible for sales commission.

To be successful in this role, the Business Development Manager must

  • Organize, prospect, qualify and manage a pipeline of at least 50 new opportunities in which to deploy enterprise-paying or operator-paying wireless networks providing service across multiple technologies (Cellular DAS, Wi-Fi, Public Safety) within the first 120 days.
  • Negotiate, structure, and sign revenue-generating agreements with at least 4 of those prospects in the first 12 months
  • Network and expand existing relationships within assigned territory by developing relationships with Low-voltage contractors, General Contractors, and Developers of properties.
  • Work with the project management and RF Engineering team to resolve customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategy to deploy wireless infrastructure in enterprise-funded or operator-funded prospects. Determine the business, financial and strategic viability of those opportunities within the first 90 days
  • Exceed Assigned sales goals and quota
  • Implement sales forecasting and pipeline management within the first 120 days
  • Identify, contact and qualify prospects through research, calling, email, and face-to-face meetings
  • Prepare sales decks, emails and call scripts based on prospecting
  • Complete at least ten face-to-face meetings within the first 180 days
  • Complete at least $250K contract value in new business quarterly. Business Development Manager must close at least 4 contracts in a calendar year
  • Lead each sales opportunity from qualifying to the close of the sale, working closely with the customer, sales engineering, operations team, legal, and all others to deliver each deal
  • Build a pipeline of qualified prospects that meets the forecast

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in complex, enterprise-paying solution selling environments, with a proven record in signing wireless infrastructure & coverage projects directly with enterprise or operators
  • Hunter in Hospitality, and new construction space for DAS and Small Cell.
  • Experience in selling directly to the enterprise, while meeting or exceeding quota
  • Proven track record of closing projects & contracts, and regularly meeting or exceeding quota
  • Manage and forecast a pipeline of opportunities while providing leadership to individual contributors
  • Ability to negotiate and execute contracts by leveraging cross-functional resources
  • Proficient working knowledge of solution selling in an enterprise or operator environment
  • Capacity to adapt to Sobey Network/Boingo's fast paced and dynamic culture
  • Proven track record of communication and people skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail and self-management driven by results
  • Ability to think quickly and analytically (critical thinker)
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to assist project managers, RF Engineer managers, and technicians, on completed projects where needed to keep customers happy
