Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Sales Executive with experience in bringing retail products from conception to market launch, particularly in the vape, kratom, cigarettes, and cannabis industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth in these niche markets. This role requires a proven track record of success in sales and business development, as well as a deep understanding of market trends and consumer preferences in the retail product space.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the vape, kratom, cigarettes, and cannabis industries, with a focus on bringing retail products from 0-1.
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners, distributors, and manufacturers, to expand market reach and distribution channels.
· Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for innovation.
· Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support long-term partnerships.
· Provide sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
· Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in bringing retail products from 0-1 or senior sales executive roles in the vape, kratom, cigarettes, or cannabis markets.
· Strong network of contacts and relationships within the retail and distribution channels in the target industries.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative sales strategies.
· Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
· Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for sales tracking and reporting.
· Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to understand and interpret sales data and financial metrics.
· Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.
