Job Summary
The UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship (PPF) at ZFGH (http://ppf.ucsf.edu/) aims to promote a culture of patient-centered care and data-driven public-academic partnerships. The mission of the PPF is to train the next generation of public mental health care leaders who will provide excellent patient-centered care to vulnerable populations with severe mental illness through: 1) understanding and implementing relevant, evidence-based psychosocial rehabilitation and psychopharmacological treatments, 2) promoting recovery, and 3) developing rewarding public-academic partnerships to examine their work.
Under the guidance of the Associate Direcotor of the Public Psychiatry Fellowship (PPF), the incumbent will provide clinical research support to the PPF. The incumbent will work on a variety of projects focused on building a healthcare workforce pipeline that will investigate effective approaches to improve training and mentoring across the educational continuum, with the goal of increasing the advancement of individuals from diverse backgrounds into the healthcare field. The incumbent will assist the Associate Director in exploring partnerships, including community, public, and private sector-based to create programmatic and policy-targeted initiatives that can facilitate impactful solutions. The incumbent will assist with planning program activities; survey development and data collection; participate in recurring PPF meetings and project-specific meetings; assist with taking minutes; and perform other duties as assigned.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
