Trustgrid, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Business Development Representative

Business Development Representative

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to represent Trustgrid and engage prospective customers in leading technology organizations around the world. You will be responsible for helping customers solve state-of-the-art cloud, network and security challenges. This role is a unique opportunity to work hand-in-hand with senior marketing, sales, and product executives in a fast growing, lean startup.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, identify, qualify and set appointments for new sales opportunities
  • Build contact lists for Trustgrid’s target customers
  • Explain the value proposition for Trustgrid’s products
  • Maintain a high-level of proactive communication with prospective customers
  • Track communications and other activity (quotes, proposals, etc) in our CRM tool

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position
  • Grit and determination to execute a long-term strategy to grow Trustgrid’s sales funnel
  • Moderate technical skills including exposure to concepts such as networking, cloud and operating systems
  • Ability to travel, rarely, for customer visits and trade shows

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1 years of software sales experience
  • Experience selling Technology products to Information Technology teams in the Fortune 500, Enterprise, Mid-Market space
  • Experience using Hubspot or other CRM to track activities
  • Ideal candidates will be able to commute to Austin, Texas as needed.

Compensation and Position:

  • Full time position
  • Base compensation of $65,000 per year with bonus potential to $85,000
