Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Baxter Planning is a dynamic and rapidly growing company setting the standard for SaaS in the service supply chain planning space. With sophisticated SaaS (BaxterPredict) and PaaS (Planning as a Service) solutions, our technologies and professionals help enterprise customers plan billions in service parts inventory every day.
We are looking for a high-energy, creative, and driven professional with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to play a pivotal role on our Go-To-Market team. You will partner directly with our marketing and sales team members to identify, engage, and drive opportunities across our target markets.
As a key part of our Go-To-Market team, you'll be measured on your ability to set meetings and create opportunities that lead to new business. We are looking for individuals with a track record of success, who can think critically about new challenges and opportunities. While our office is based in Austin, TX, this is a telecommute/remote position allowing the ideal candidate to work where it suits them best!
Responsibilities
Manage outbound prospecting to maximize conversion and pipeline development.
Schedule qualified meetings and validate sales opportunities for the Account Executives.
Research target accounts based on their revenue, location, and service strategy.
Highlight key contacts based on seniority, title, responsibilities and identify their service business challenges and need for Baxter Planning solutions.
Leverage a mix of email, LinkedIn, and calling tactics to meet daily effort-based goals. Target senior level decision makers and position the value of Baxter Plannings solution and services.
Re-engage dormant opportunities and nurture early-stage opportunities.
Aid in reviewing and identifying key leads from marketing events and high-volume lead generation activities.
Understand Baxter Plannings offerings and competitive positioning to effectively communicate and apply them to the needs of a prospect.
Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.
Partner with cross functional groups (marketing, solution consulting, sales, customer success) including senior and C-level leadership.
Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives
Qualifications
Experience with enterprise software or technology organizations.
At least 1-2 years of prior sales development, business development, prospecting or sourcing experience.
Supply chain, aftermarket and/or service sector experience.
Fluent English great presentation skills;
Strong listening, phone, and written and communication skills. ability, and strong and sincere interest, to explain just about anything to anyone.
Sincere joy of helping prospects understand our solutions and how they can benefit their business.
The patience and persistence required to make multiple attempts to reach a single target buyer.
Ability to articulate technical capabilities in terms of business value.
A results-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to hit/exceed quota.
A keen ability to think on your feet, learn quickly, and adapt to unexpected objections.
