POSITION OVERVIEW

As an HR Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources and administrative functions. You will be responsible for employee records management and providing administrative assistance to the HR department with onboarding, change forms and offboarding. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and dedication to accuracy will be key in maintaining our employee data and payroll integrity.

JOB SCOPE

Job Description: Position Overview: As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. You will assist with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, HR recordkeeping, administration support, and general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing paperwork and scheduling orientation sessions. Assist with the creation and maintenance of employee personnel files. Ensure new employees complete required paperwork and orientation modules.
  2. Employee Engagement: Provide administrative support for employee engagement activities, such as performance reviews and employee recognition programs. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion. 
  3. HR Recordkeeping: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in electronic and physical filing systems. Assist with data entry and updates in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System). Generate reports and compile data for HR metrics and analytics. 
  4.  General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents. Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  5.  Benefits Administration Support: Assist with benefits enrollment processes and changes. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and escalate complex issues to HR specialist

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous administrative experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
