Staffing Boutique is pleased to notify you of a new job opportunity as a temporary HR & Culture Administrative Coordinator!

Organization Type: Cultural
Office Location: Midtown Manhattan
Start Date: ASAP!
Duration: March - August 2024
Schedule: Monday - Friday (2 days a week you can work from home)
Hours: 32-40 hours a week (flexible)
Holidays: Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, & Labor Day
Pay: $25-31/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Culture Administrative Assistant/Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support to the HR Culture Team as well as general administrative functions. This role will report directly to the HRM, and dotted line to the Chief of Staff, Culture. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently and discretely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide general administrative support, including reconciliation of HR benefit expenses, organization of calendars, contacts, setting up building passes, meetings, and research among HR vendors.
  • Act as a "gatekeeper" by monitoring emails and calendars, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, confidentiality, trust, and support with management and staff.
  • Assist with tracking all HR compliance tasks including researching issues and updating HR records.
  • Prepare critical communications, emails, procedures, and correspondence at the direction of the HRM and/or Chief of Staff.
  • Assist with the enhancement of employee engagement tools and platforms.
  • Assist with occasional coordinate logistics for NY Office events, both on- and off-site, including menus, room set-up, etc.
  • Assist in coordinating recruiting efforts by maintaining and updating the applicant databases, creating candidate files, sending status updates, and completing audits.
  • Assist in resolving administrative issues.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Positive, upbeat demeanor with can-do attitude
  • Provide superior administrative support
  • Maintain and update the PTO HR Culture calendars
  • Collect and organize reports, scanning and filing, as needed
  • Diversity champion – Eager to help impact change from the admin level & support of our DEI commitment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 1 years of related experience
  • High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of ADP is required
  • Knowledge of BambooHR is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • General knowledge and enthusiasm for New York City’s five boroughs and all neighborhoods
  • Additional language skills preferred, but not required
