Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing human resources (HR) support in accordance with our Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures. Handles extremely confidential Company information related to compensation, benefits, labor relations, discipline, employee issues and management policies and initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
- Three years' relevant experience: Preferred
- Experience as an HR professional or equivalent in Healthcare: Preferred
- Successful candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and written skills to include accurate grammar and spelling proficiency. Demonstrated PC proficiency with a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must possess excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and strong written skills. Must have excellent multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills, including accuracy with routine tasks. Work requires attention to detail. Requires ability to work under stress. Must be able to multi-task to meet deadlines and priorities.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification: Preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Performs a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to, data entry and collection, responding to employee’s telephone calls, scanning documents and facilitating correspondence.
- Creates, distributes, processes, and files paperwork necessary for personnel actions. Assists with the maintenance of personnel files. Handles highly confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- Applies basic human resource concepts and general policy explanations to a wide array of questions from employees and management. Recognizes more complex issues that should be referred to a higher level or specialized areas within HR.
- Acts as a liaison between personnel. Assures that organization employment, labor relations and equal opportunity policies and practices comply with the applicable provision of federal and state laws. Assist in the research, planning, developing and implementing of new policies and procedures.
- Assists with special projects as needed. Actively participates in training.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
