With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity, we are seeking a talented HR Generalist with payroll experience to join our team and support our mission of delivering outstanding service to our clients and tenants.

Job Description:

The HR Generalist with Payroll will play a key role in supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes within our organization. Reporting to the HR Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, payroll administration, and experience with Insperity or similar HR outsourcing services. Additionally, candidates with 4 plus years of experience in the real estate sector are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Administration:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely using payroll software or HRIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data as needed.

2. HR Operations:

  • Assist with various HR functions, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.

3. Compliance and Policy Administration:

  • Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues and policies.

4. Vendor Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR outsourcing services, such as Insperity or similar HR service providers.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of HR services and support.

5. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare HR and payroll-related reports for management review.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR generalist roles, with a focus on payroll administration.
  • Experience with payroll software or HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday).
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Experience working in the real estate sector is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
