This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the New York, New York area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Key responsibilities- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Conduct full-cycle A/P- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
