Rezdôra is a Michelin Starred (NYTimes 3-Star) Italian Restaurant dedicated to the food & hospitality of the Emilia Romagna region in Italy. The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate Chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer. Stefano's father is from Italy and he has worked and cooked in the homeland for over 3 years including at Osteria Francescana, All’Enoteca and Hosteria Giusti, based in Modena, Emilia Romagna and Canale, Piemonte respectively.
We are seeking an experienced Jr. Pastry Sous Chef with a strong work ethic to help maintain the highest standards of service, production and professionalism. Our ideal candidate is a professional who is also energetic and passionate about all aspects of hospitality and Italian culture.
As Jr. Pastry Sous Chef you will work directly with our Executive Pastry Chef, Dominique Canvin. You will be responsible for helping maintain the integrity of our pastry program while facilitating proper service and skills in our kitchen. You will be responsible for keeping up with the daily chocolate work while overseeing the day to day production with your pastry cooks and overseeing the flow of service. You will have the opportunity to assit Chef with menu development for new items for the restaurant. Learn how to make traditional italian desserts including gelatos, focaccia, cakes, chocolate work and more.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As a Jr. Pastry Sous Chef, we ask that you are knowledgable in the basic foundamentals of pastry production and restaurant service.

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is $68,000-70,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
