Psychological Perspectives LLC is a busy and growing private practice located in the Pleasant Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA. We provide psychological/neuropsychological assessment and testing services, as well as outpatient therapy in the form of individual, group, and couple’s therapy. Service populations include children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. We assess concerns for social, emotional, and behavioral health needs.

We are seeking to hire a Billing Specialist to work 15-20 hours per week. We will work with the right individual to create a schedule that works for both you and the practice. Billing and insurance experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit billing electronically and by paper to various insurance companies.
• Confirm that all necessary documentation is on file.
• Monitor and follow-up with insurance companies and clients on outstanding balances.
• File appeals with insurance companies as necessary.
• Post insurance and client payments to the client's ledger.
• Assist with the collections process.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinicians and office staff.
• Follow HIPAA policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Individual must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and incorporate feedback as needed.​

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
